What do your beans taste like?
Our signature Flamingo Blend features notes of smooth milk chocolate, red cherry and almond flavours. This combo is a massive crowd pleaser and is designed to be enjoyed black or white!
Which grind do I need?
Not sure which grind type to purchase?
Whole Beans:
If you have a grinder, grab our whole beans and let it do the grinding for you!
Espresso Ground:
For those who have an espresso machine but no grinder! Espresso is finely ground and will brew perfectly with any at-home espresso machine, moka pot or percolator.
Filter Ground:
For those who have a filter machine but no grinder! Our filtered grind is a very coarse one!
Remember: the grind matters! If you're unsure of which grind you need for your at home machine, please send our team an email at contact@flamingoroasters.com and they'll be happy to help you out!
How many coffees will I get from 1 bag?
250g bag: 22 small coffees or 11 large coffees
1kg bag: 90 small coffees or 45 large coffees
These are an average based off using a 22g shot. A small coffee being 1 shot and a large being 2 shots.
What's the best recipe for Flamingo?
If you're one for the finer details, our Flamingo blend is best enjoyed with the following recipe:
Milk Recipe
Dose 22g
Yield 42-46g
Time 28-35 seconds Ratio: 1:2
Black Recipe
Dose 22g
Yield 53-57g
Time 28-35 seconds Ratio 1:2.5
How long will my order take to be shipped?
All orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days. As soon as we process your order you’ll receive a tracking link from our postage supplier, we recommend keeping an eye on that for real-time updates on where your order is.
Do your beans expire?
We recommend you use your beans from day 7 after roast to day 30 (all bags will have a roast date on them). There is nothing wrong with using post/pre this but we feel with the degassing process this is them at their peak!
