We are Flamingo Roasters!

Born from our sheer love of coffee, our brand embodies all things fun, relaxed and of course delicious. Our mission is to implement these key principles in our day to day lives - one cup at a time! 

We prioritise quality and taste in our entire process to ensure we are providing the best coffee experience for our customers. Flamingo Blend is made from combining fresh specialty grade quality coffee beans from our partners in Colombia, Brazil and Nicaragua.  

Our outstanding Flamingo beans are harvested from the Santa Rita Estate owned and run by Desiree and Dania, fourth generation coffee farmers and self described women of the entrepreneurial sprit. 

In coffee growing, female farmers and female owned farms are a bit of a rarity, like many agricultural industries it has been traditionally male dominated. Not only are Desiree and Dania challenging this status quo, but they are producing some seriously awesome coffee whilst staying true to many environmental principles.

Our drive for ethically sourced beans is very important to us - our fundamentals on purchasing means all coffee must score a minimum of 80/100 by having our coffee cherries handpicked eliminating the chances of having rotten or under ripe fruits in the mix (in simpler terms, we only get the best of the best).

Here at Flamingo all our coffee beans are 100% traceable, meaning we can guarantee the farmers are receiving a fair days pay for a fair days work. Our main coffee partner is first and foremost a coffee farm educator, this means they work to grow the living standard amongst Colombian farmers to further the coffee farm and enrich the livelihood of those around them.
